After the LA wildfires, Evan Spiegel, co-founder and CEO of Snapchat, co-founded a non-profit called the Department of Angels to help those affected by the fires. His foundation, the Spiegel Family Fund, is also one of the founding sponsors of the LA Fire HEALTH Study.

In a recent interview with Elex Michaelson on CNN’s “The Story Is with Elex Michaelson,” Evan discusses why he founded the Department of Angels, and why long-term health studies like the LA Fire HEALTH Study are needed to help keep residents safe.
