This session is part of a three-part series on Wildfire Preparedness, Response, and Recovery: Health System Resilience in the Era of Complex Wildfire Risk, which will convene a cross-sector group of leaders and experts to examine long-term health impacts, recovery challenges, and strategies to support community recovery and strengthen resilience to future wildfire risk.

This session will feature panelists Ruben Juarez and Dr. Alika Maunakea discussing the community response in the aftermath of the Lahaina wildfires. They will be highlighting MauiWES, especially how community-centered data, health screenings, biomonitoring, and partnerships inform recovery and strengthen future disaster response.
